First, let me tell you a little bit about myself.
I am Fiona S. Gepilango, 17 years old, from the Philippines. I was born on September 4, 2001. To describe myself, I have a slim figure, long wavy hair, round face and almond shaped myopic eyes (that means I wear glasses). My personality, I am a loving, caring, reliable, and an optimistic kind of person. Any talents? One thing I’m only good at is writing poems, essays and etc. I don’t have any talent in singing or dancing.
The favorite things that I like to do are: spending time with my friends, playing online games, watching Asian Dramas (specifically K-dramas and C-dramas), watching movies, reading books and of course writing. But among them, my most favorite one is playing video games.
Why do I Like to Play Video Games?
1. Playing Online Games relieves stress. I am a grade conscious person so I overthink a lot sometimes if I get a low score on our quiz and I become easily stressed when our
performance tasks pile up. So, when I have a vacant time, I play online games with my friends to forget about it for a while.
2. I can communicate to people who live in different places. Also, I met my online friends who are so fun to talk to. It helps me to become socially active.
3. It makes me happy. Every time I’m sad and alone, I just play games. When I win the game, it’s an achievement for me and it feels so good.
4. The challenges make the game interesting. Critical thinking is needed in order to win the game because you need to have strategies.
5. The advantages of playing video games are too many to mention. But it’s one of the reasons why I continue to play.
So here are some of the games that I really love to play.
Yes! I play online games for hours in a day, but I still have time to get away from it to spend time with the people around me, especially with my friends.
